Our friendly English-speaking driver will meet you in your hotel lobby at the scheduled time. You’ll then be driven to the starting point in Sanding Village, North Ubud a tranquil countryside area surrounded by lush greenery. Travel time depends on your location: approximately 1.5 hours from South Bali or 45 minutes from Ubud in the morning.

Upon arrival, you’ll meet your professional biking guide, who will give a short briefing on how to operate your well-maintained mountain bike for a safe and enjoyable ride. Once ready, you’ll begin a 2 to 2.5-hour cycling journey, depending on your pace.

The route winds through quiet villages, scenic greenery, and peaceful countryside trails far from the traffic and crowds. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to make several meaningful stops:

• Visit a Local School (if in session): Observe students in their daily activities and engage with them.

• Explore a Village Temple: Learn about Balinese Hindu traditions and the temple’s spiritual role in village life.

• Visit a Traditional Balinese House: Discover the unique layout of a Balinese compound and daily local customs.

Around 80% of the route is either downhill or flat, with a few short uphill sections. You’ll also pass Pura Samuan Tiga, one of Bali’s ancient temples rich in cultural history. The journey continues along a scenic paved single-track trail through beautiful rice fields. Depending on the season, you may see farmers planting or harvesting.

The tour ends in Buruan Village, where your driver awaits to take you to Rapuan Chilli, a local restaurant serving a tasty Indonesian set menu lunch with rice field views. Feel free to relax or take a dip in the swimming pool (please bring your own towel, as it is not provided).

After your meal and a refreshing break, we’ll drive you back to your hotel ending your day with unforgettable memories.
